Guest Author-in-Residence Matthew Gollub will be speaking on ways to foster a love of reading in your child. RSVP requested for this event. Please call the office @ (650) 312-7588 by Friday, March 18th if you plan on attending. Childcare will be made available if there is a need. Parents attending will receive one hour of volunteer credit for this event.
Learn to Draw Night with Richard Becker, Friday, March 25, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm in the gym.
Back by popular demand, the author and artist of “Draw the Marvel Comic Super Heroes” will teach children how to draw basic shapes and develop them into cartoon characters. Open to all grades.

Volunteers still needed to help with Literacy Week events. Earn your volunteer credits and be part of a week of events dedicated to promoting reading and literacy.
Guest Readers Needed
Thursday, March 24, 8:30 am – 10:30 am. Guest readers visit classrooms. As in past years, the guest readers are encouraged to incorporate their occupation (by coming in uniform or otherwise) and explain how reading and writing are critical to their jobs. Bring a favorite children’s book, or teachers will supply. Speakers may rotate through several classrooms.
