There are many ways for you to get involved and contribute to this effort each year! From our annual fall gift-wrap sale to monthly dinner-out fundraisers to eScrip, there is something for everyone. Here's a complete list of fundraising activities you can support.

Special Events

PTA Membership and Pledge Drive

In conjunction with our September membership drive, families are asked to contribute directly to the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) general fund to support activities throughout the year.

Annual Dinner Dance and Auction

Our biggest single fundraiser of the year, the annual auction both raises money to help support the school's programs while providing a great night out for our parents and the whole school community with food, a live band, and dancing. Auction items are donated by local businesses as well as the school community. We need lots of volunteer help and lots of donations to be successful.

Earthwalk and Carnival

The NSM community welcomes the spring with a neighborhood cleanup and walkathon, culminating with an eco-friendly school carnival.

See's Candy Sales

This sweet spring tradition is another way to help support NSM.

Book Fairs

Three times a year, Scholastic Books delivers racks filled with books that are offered for sale to students. Teachers post wish lists so that parents may purchase books for their children’s classroom. Proceeds from these fundraisers are used to purchase books for the school library. The book fairs are open before school, during recess, and after school.

Magic Night, Movie Nights, and Skate Night

Join the NSM community for these special evenings, with proceeds benefitting the school.

Year-Round Programs

Dinner-Out Nights

The first Tuesday of each month during the school year, we host a dinner-out fundraiser at a local restaurant. Join your school friends and enjoy a dinner out, knowing that a percentage of the proceeds will be donated by the restaurant to the school.

Shop to Benefit NSM

Start your shopping trip at the "Shop to Benefit NSM" link at www.nsmontessori.org and your purchases will translate into donations to the NSM PTA, all at no extra cost to you.  Look for NSM logo apparel and accessories at our online store.  And support NSM with purchases at Talbot's Toys on select dates in November and December.

eScrip and Target cards

Sign up your debit, credit, and Safeway cards with eScrip. It's free to you and North Shoreview Montessori (NSM) wins when you shop at Safeway, Draegers, Trags, Lunardis, and more!  Register your Target guest card or Target Visa and Target will donate up to one percent of your purchases to NSM.

Box Tops for Education and Campbell's Labels for Education

Box Tops for Education has helped America's schools earn over $175 million in just over 10 years. Similarly, saving labels from qualifying Campbell's products can help earn educational equipment for NSM through the Labels for Education program. 

School Pictures

Parent volunteers help organize both the fall and spring picture days, and proceeds from the spring picture day benefit the NSM PTA.

Printer Cartridge and Cell Phone Recycling

Drop off your used printer cartridges and old cell phones at the school office; they'll be environmentally recycled and benefit NSM.
